Founded in 1996, Fabchem specialises in support technology that is at the core of making underground mining safer, especially at the great depths of South African gold mines. As a technology leader, Fabchem holds several patents over some very innovative products.

Fabchem is a Black Empowered company and qualifies as a Level 3 BEE contributor (certification is available on request). This means that our clients are able to claim 110% of their purchases with Fabchem as BEE.

Our quality management system has been certified to the ISO9001:2008 international standard by the SABS.

The Company is divided into three divisions:

The Anchors Division manufactures and markets strata control systems (anchors, roofbolts, osro straps, mesh and cementitious grout products).

The Mining Services Division is involved in the design, installation and quality management of strata control solutions.
